Associates working 30 or more hours per week* are eligible for most Albertsons Companies benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days from date of hire. You must enroll within 31 days of your hire date.<\/p>\n

Example<\/strong>: If your hire date is February 10, 2024, your coverage effective date is April 1, 2024 provided you enroll in your benefits by March 10, 2024. If you miss the enrollment deadline, you must wait until the next annual Open Enrollment period to sign-up for most benefits unless you experience a qualifying life event<\/a><\/strong> during the year such as getting married or having a baby.<\/p>\n

With the 401(k) plan<\/a><\/strong>, you are eligible to participate on your date of hire if you are at least 21 years old and part of an eligible group of employees as defined by the plan. If you are covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement, check with your union representative for eligibility and enrollment rules.<\/p>\n
